Btw, sorry to make a minor complain here…
Regarding the away status, it’ll be better if you keep a nick status on away even though the nick spoken in a private message.

As there’s once my friend was pm-ing me, I replied.
In the channel, the status tells that I’m back.
So it’s kinda no privacy~

Yes! This will come in handy when I use Mibbit as a backchannel in class while students are doing probs and we want to show something along with the main slideshow!

This is not a new concept at all – many networks have channels dedicated to certain television shows when they’re occuring, for example Eurovision.

Of course permanent channels which people visit each week to discuss a show while it’s on are lacking – partly because people would probably rather prefer to watch the show than talk to people on the other side of the world.

How about adding options such as if backlog is shown to that menu? Would be far more discoverable than the / commands.

@JustOff Then it’d need to CTCP everyone in the channel, which could be irritating to other users.
You can always do a manual /CTCP from mibbit.

why u don’t display the same info from other clients, but for mibbit clients only? mirc, for example, now listed as unknown, while does correctly recponces for ctcp version/time
